Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, email, and the note you write about the trip. If you email us directly, we keep whatever you send.

The site stores a small session cookie so the form can check that the message came from a real page load (a CSRF token). We do not run advertising pixels, analytics suites, or third-party trackers on this site.

How we use it

We use that information to answer you, plan a trip, make bookings you have asked for, and keep ordinary business records. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing lists.

Who we share it with

Form messages are sent by email through Resend. Hotels, airlines, and other suppliers only receive what they need if you have asked us to book with them. We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisors under confidentiality.

How long we keep it

Enquiry mail is kept as long as we need it to plan and follow up on a trip, then for a reasonable period of ordinary business record-keeping. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you unless we are required to keep it.

Security

We use HTTPS, limit what the form will accept, and rate-limit submissions. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Please do not send payment card numbers through the form or by ordinary email.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

Email hyggehops@gmail.com to review, correct, or delete information we hold, or to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Depending on where you live, local privacy law may give you additional rights.

Changes

If this notice changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above.
